Well, this is not going well…
Garlic is literally in everything. I know, I know… I should have been preparing my own food instead of buying pre-made anything and/or takeout, but I feel rather lost.
I actually thought this wouldn’t be difficult, but I have always been a bit of a sucker for my cravings. Case in point – yesterday, I got a red curry dish from the Thai place across the street.
DE. FUCKING. LICIOUS.
Except, I battled this painful bloating and nausea and then woke up at 4 in the morning with diarrhea. TMI? Possibly… but that’s the reality of ibs and having gut health issues.
In reflective review of my tofu pumpkin curry meal, there are two things that stand out to me – garlic and onions/shallots.
Now today, I am here, struggling on Day 4 with my pesto quinoa pasta, that is definitely not sitting well with me either, feeling a bit lost and down in the dumps.
So again, like clockwork, in reflective review of my pesto sauce, which admittedly I should have done before I cooked it, has a variety of milks… which may or may not have also been in the curry.
I feel so sick. Nauseous. Bloated. Gassy. In pain.
